(based on 18 reviews)

kristi-village-mountain-bike

This Kristi Village mountain biking trip is a great way to see the hills and valleys of Pokhara. As part of a trip that shows you the rural side of Nepal, you'll go on a beautiful 4-hour bike ride through mountain crevices, orange gardens, and many smaller villages, all while getting amazing views of the Annapurna Ranges.

During this trip, you will also get to see Osho Tapoban, ride your bike along the Seti River, and see Fewa and Begnas lakes. You can even enjoy a cold beer and some of the local fish to celebrate your win. But as your trip goes on, you'll also get to see how the locals live. For example, as you cycle through paddy fields and huge plantations, you'll get to talk to and meet the people who live there.

Program Itinerary

Kristi Village day ride program details

Arrive in Pokhara in the morning at the bike center. After you get a full explanation of the cycling trip, grab your bike and head to the mountains.

As you ride your bike to the Kristi Village from Pokhara, you'll pass through some beautiful scenery over the course of 3 to 4 hours. You'll start by biking through a lot of small towns. Then you'll go through some orange groves. During your trip, you'll also get to see the Annapurna Mountain Range in all its glory. You will also cycle along the Begnas and Fewa Lake, pass the Seti River and Furse Khola, and go to Osho Tapoban. Once you get to the village, you can talk to people there and see how they live.

You will have to climb up one steep hill, but you can always celebrate after that with some cold beers and local fish if you want to. Near the end of your trip, you'll head back to the bike center, where you'll say your goodbyes and the trip will be over.
